Leela was joined by almost forty people for the first ever Jog On.

The hottest October day since records began saw the first ever 'Jog On to Kidney Cancer' event held in Withersfield Suffolk. Over 37 entrants battled the soaring temperatures to run, jog or walk a route through the picturesque villages and countryside of West Suffolk, finishing at The White Horse in Withersfield for a superb BBQ lunch.

First to cross the line was Vicky Knight with a fantastic time of 1hr 27.

I would personally like to thank all those that took part or gave up their time to help make the day a resounding success in helping raise funds for, and awareness of, Kidney Cancer.

Due to this outstanding success the Fund is planning to now make this an annual event and would very much appreciate your continued support . I look forward to seeing you at the next chapter of our 'Jog On to Kidney Cancer' in Summer 2012.
