Cardiff Half Marathon

This will be the second year that James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer will have a team running the Cardiff Half Marathon.

It is an amazing event with over 10,000 runners. The atmosphere is electric and the run very scenic and flat. What better way of raising money for a worthy cause and enjoying a wonderful experience with over 10,000 like-minded people!

Our 2010 team will be meeting at The Novotel Hotel Cardiff City Centre before heading off for the start line and will return to the hotel to relax after the event for a mini presentation for the fastest team member.

In 2009 a team of 10 people ran the Half Marathon for The Fund raising £1,000 towards the aims of The Fund in Wales.

This year we currently have a team of 23 fabulous people and hope t raise over £2,000. There is still room for more! The closing date for entry is 12pm on Wednesday 15 September 2010.
