In 2010 club members from Margam, Company of Sixty, Cambria Bowmen, Cymric, Invicta, Blandy Jenkins and Tockington Archers took part and this year we are expecting entries from club archers all over the UK.
Due to the tournament taking place on a golf course we can only invite Long Bow, Traditional Long Bow and Recurve classifications to take part.
Each bowman takes three arrows to score points at each hole. The scoring is 9 points for 3 meters from the hole, 7 points for arrows between 3 and 9 meters from the hole and 3 points for arrows between 9 and 18 meters from the hole.
James Whale, the Fund's Founder and Chair, who's mother hales from Porthcawl, is an avid bowman and will be competing.
