Paul Green is running for the Fund in this half Marathonat the 02 in Greenwich, London on Sunday 26 September.

Paul writes

"I have somewhat naively entered myself for the Run to the Beat half marathon on 26 September. I have not run as long a distance for an awfully long time and I am challenging myself to run in under two hours.

I have chosen to raise money for the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer which, as many of you will know is something particularly personal to me.

I have set myself a target to raise £1,500 which equates to just 7.5p per metre!!! Which, given those last few thousand are going to be quite horrendous, is a small price to pay....

I would really appreciate any donations you are able to give to a very worthy cause which has far less funding than many other charities but carries out such important work."
