Chantal Chaney explains why she backed the James Whale Fund:

"The John Laing Charitable Trust has generously agreed to match any funds raised on their staff matching scheme, up to a value of £1k, that means that any money you donate will be doubled when it goes to the charity!!

I have selected this charity in particular as the funds are entirely dedicated to kidney cancer research, which many of you will understand as being of particular significance to myself and my family. It is also an area that has been vastly underfunded with many sufferers not being diagnosed until it is too late. If this money can help even one person, just by giving them more time with their family and friends, it will have been worth all those after work training sessions between Victoria and Tower Hill dodging the many tourists on the Southbank.

This is a very worthy chairty so please give what you can, and remember, anything you donate will be doubled!"
