PATIENTS with kidney cancer in Wales will get NHS funding for four life-prolonging drugs, The Western Mail can reveal.
Health Minister Edwina Hart will today order all local health boards to fund the drugs, even though they have not yet been approved by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice) for use on the NHS in England and Wales. Read the full article here (a new window will open)
