After a successful career in sales and marketing in the motor industry, Nick entered the charity sector in the late 1980s. After nine years working for a national kidney charity, he responded to James Whale’s challenge to set up this charity in 2006.

After thirty years of teaching, retired as pastoral deputy headteacher, of a large comprehensive school and started working for a national charity. Fundraising experiences include the management of a call centre, lottery, events, database, donor development, legacy and in memoriam work.

Nikki is a qualified certified accountant with 15 years experience in accounting, from basic bookkeeping to company accountant. She currently runs her own business doing monthly management accounts for organisations and companies in a variety of market sectors.
